The American Bible Society look to use a Digital Asset Management solution to help move the organization towards meeting their objective of enhancing the value of their Intellectual Property -- critical documents and images, including a priceless collection of photographs and essays. The non profit organization had a strategy to: remove silos of information and promote sharing and reuse; reduce the of cost managing and storing their assets; and provide a secure and reliable system to protect their assets.
The American Bible Society rolled out a centralized content management system on EMC Documentum, currently managing 20,000 images, 400 books, 5,000 illustrations and over 36,000 library card catalogs all in a central repository.
