Bayantel's push to guarantee customer satisfaction led to their purchase of EMC CLARiiON® CX700 and CX500. Bayantel also acquired EMC software, including EMC Navisphere® for storage management, control, and monitoring, EMC SnapView for creating local copies of the database, and EMC MirrorView for remote data replication and disaster recovery. These solutions currently support a range of new services from Bayantel, including remote data and application storage services currently being used by leading online game providers.
Prior to implementing CLARiiON CX networked storage and EMC software, Bayantel had several application and storage servers with multiple brands. This scenario meant that information was very difficult to locate, retrieve, share and manage; and more importantly, data recovery was a challenging issue.
