EMC is a proud sponsor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), the world's largest orchestral organization, which presents more than 250 concerts annually.

The BSO plays an active role in commissioning new works from today's most important composers, and its summer season at Tanglewood is regarded as one of the world's most important music festivals.

Sponsored by the BSO, the Tanglewood Music Center is a renowned training ground for young composers, conductors, instrumentalists and vocalists. The orchestra is dedicated to making music and presenting performances consonant with the highest aspirations of musical art, and to providing educational and training programs at the highest levels of excellence.

Under BSO Music Director James Levine, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will embark on an international tour from August to September 2007 with support from EMC Corporation. The orchestra will be accompanied by the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and internationally acclaimed soloists.
