Steven Say is the founding director of EMC’s South Asia Development Laboratory (SADL) in Singapore. Say is responsible for leading and advancing the EMC’s Research & Development efforts at the SADL. He is also responsible for building and leading EMC’s R&D engineers at the facility. He reports to Paul Brown, Vice President and General Manager, EMC E-Lab, based in Hopkinton, MA.

Steven Say joins EMC from Singapore Telecom Pte. Ltd. with more than 20 years of experience in planning, developing and implementing technology infrastructures and services for IT vendors and their customers in the Asia-Pacific/Japan region. His successful track record of developing technology infrastructures from scratch and building highly competent teams of technology architects and specialists includes more than 14 years in senior management and leadership positions at large multinational corporations including IBM, VISA International, DEUTSCHE Bank, and DBS Bank.

Say received his B.A. in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and his M.Sc. in Business Administration (M.I.S.) from Pennsylvania State University.
