Ron is President for EMC South Asia and he currently oversees EMC’s operations in the South Asia region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Brunei and Vietnam.

Prior to this, Ron was the Vice President for Partners/Alliance and Commercial/SME Business. He was responsible for driving the business with partners and channels across Asia Pacific, in particular the mid-tier and SMB segments. In that role, he focused on developing strong regional partnerships and alliances while deepening current relationships to bring EMC solutions closer to APJ customers and help them address their pressing information management needs.

Ron brings to EMC more than 25 years of senior IT sales, marketing and management experience across the region. Prior to joining EMC, he was the Vice President and Managing Director of NEC Computers Asia Pacific, holding full profit and loss responsibilities for the region. He achieved significant growth and profitability in their last financial year. Prior to NEC, Ron held similar senior Asia Pacific management positions with Dell and Digital/Compaq, where he had direct and indirect sales responsibilities for Large, Mid-Range and SMB customers, as well as business development for the emerging South Asia markets.

Ron started his career as a Commissioned Officer with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, where he served for 10 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami Dade College as well as completed several management programs conducted by Boston College and the American College (Philadelphia).
