Prior to this, Joe was the District Sales Director for EMC Singapore. He was responsible for identifying new business opportunities by markets and products by developing and nurturing business relationships with key stakeholders. In that role, he focused on building and implementing specific sales & marketing strategies to ensure that they synergise with the sales strategy, and led a sales team to deliver on sales targets.
Joe brings to this position 14 years of sales experience, including eight at EMC. He is known to be a leader of leaders with excellent business acumen, as proven by his impressive sales track record. For three consecutive years from 2005 to 2007, Joe was awarded platinum membership to the EMC Club. The EMC Club was started in 2000 and is a global programme, recognising and rewarding the company’s highest sales performers.
Joe started his career as Corporate Account Manager at PrimeField where he managed LAN and WAN projects for key accounts. Since then, Joe has consistently achieved and exceeded his sales quotas by significant margins. He held a position at IBM and Memorex Telex, where he achieved top sales twice. Most recently, he was the top District Sales Director for EMC Singapore for the two years he held that position.
Joe’s favourite pastimes include golf and exercising at the gym. He is also an avid reader, particularly in the areas of Business, Economics and Strategic Management.
Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
