Ian Loh is the Director for Solutions & Productivity, South Asia. He is responsible for the sales of new EMC platform solutions in ASEAN and South Asia. His team’s mandate is to help Asian customers leverage the power of innovative technology solutions to reduce costs, increase efficiency and enhance customer service. Drawing on his industry experience, Ian will focus on sharing best practices from around the globe with EMC clients. In addition, Ian carries an internal EMC responsibility to support business planning, sales training & development and business reviews at the South Asia regional level.

Ian has 16 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Prior to this new role in EMC, he was the Director, Financial Services Industry, South Asia, responsible for growing EMC’s mindshare and marketshare in the banking, finance, insurance and capital markets industries. Prior to that, he was previously the EMC Global Account Manager for DBS Group.

Before joining EMC, Ian was with IBM’s FSI team, where he worked with securities firms to develop and implement online stock trading systems, supported the development of a new settlement information infrastructure for the Singapore Exchange and worked on a major bank merger.

Ian was a founding member of the Business Continuity Group, Singapore Computer Society. He graduated with an MBA (Distinction) from Leeds University and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from National University of Singapore.
